Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1 - Below Limit

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on (approx. 30 seconds)
- Battery positive voltage greater than 7 V

Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit to ground
- Pedal sensor faulty

Affected terminals
DME control module connector A, pin 35

NOTE:
- The system is in stand-by operation mode in pedal sensor, i.e. the accelerator pedal angle is calculated from the remaining potentiometer signal.
- When this fault occurs, the value from the pedal sensor is limited to 30 % and the dynamic is reduced.
