Removing And Installing Radio Antenna
Preliminary work
1. Remove top half of rear spoiler.
2. Remove the left antenna amplifier.
Removing radio antenna
1. Unscrew fastening screw -arrow 1-.
2. Loosen fastening nut -2- and turn the ground strap away to the left -arrow A-.
3. Unscrew fastening screws -arrows 3- and set the radio antenna to one side -arrow B-.
4. Release lock for radio antenna -arrows A- and pull off the connector -arrow B-.
5. Remove radio antenna.
Installing radio antenna
1. Push connector of radio antenna onto the line -arrow A- until the locking lugs of the radio antenna lock -arrows B- engage securely.
2. Position radio antenna in installation position -arrow A- and screw in the fastening screws -arrows 3-, but do not tighten them.
3. Turn ground strap into installation position -arrow B- and secure the ground leads using the fastening screw -arrow 1-. Then tighten the fastening nut -2- and fastening screws -arrows 3-.
Subsequent work
1. Install the left antenna amplifier.
2. Install top half of rear spoiler.
