Awkward 2-1 downshifts in warm-up program

Causes and remedial action

On vehicles with Tiptronic, awkward vehicle decelerations may occur as a result of 2->1 downshifts in the warm up program (D-mode).

In the event of a verified complaint, the Tiptronic control unit must be replaced on vehicles manufactured before the date of introduction March 2006.

A test drive will determine how effective this measure is.
