Creaking noises from around the guide wedge (rear lid).

Causes and remedial action

Creaking noises from around the left/right guide wedge (rear lid) when the power closing aid engages in the second notch.

In the event of a complaint, lubricate the contact surface on the left/right guide wedges with Krytox.

000.043.206.65 Krytox (grease)

Cleaning solution (isopropanol, commercially available) Clean cloth

Reworking rear lid

1. Open the rear lid.
2. Clean contact surface on guide wedges -1- in the marked area -A- with isopropanol.







3. Lubricate contact surface on guide wedges -1- in the marked area -A- with Krytox.
4. Close the rear lid.
