Removing And Installing Wire Harness For ParkAssist

Preliminary work
1. Remove rear apron.

Removing wire harness for ParkAssist







1. Pull off connector on sensor for ParkAssist.
1.1. Pull retaining lugs apart -arrows A- and remove sensor for ParkAssist -1- ( -arrow B- ).







1.2. Release connector -2- ( -arrow C- ) and pull it off the sensor for ParkAssist -1- ( -arrow D- ).







2. Unclip connector on left side of rear apron -arrow-.







3. Unclip wire harness for ParkAssist at the retaining clips -arrow- and remove wire harness for ParkAssist.

Installing wire harness for ParkAssist







1. Position wire harness for ParkAssist on the rear apron and secure with retaining clips -arrow-.







2. Clip in connector on left side of rear apron -arrow-.
3. Plug in connector on sensor for ParkAssist.
3.1. Plug in connector -2- on sensor for ParkAssist -1- ( -arrow A- ) until the connector -2- engages securely.







3.2. Press sensor for ParkAssist -1- into the mounting in the rear apron -arrow B- until the locking lugs engage securely.

Subsequent work
1. Install rear apron.
