Removing and mounting transmission
Preliminary work
1. Remove engine-transmission unit.

1. Unclip coolant lines from the holders.

2. Remove cable duct. To do this, unscrew the screws and move the cable duct towards the engine.

3. Attach transmission to workshop crane.
Caution
Mechanical overload of components
^ Component will be damaged irreparably
-> Observe guidelines for assembly and disassembly
Information
When you loosen the flange screws between the transmission and engine, the screws -1 and 2- must first be loosened and unscrewed. If this is not done, the engine housing can be damaged irreparably.

4. Unscrew the two bottom fastening screws between the engine and transmission.
5. Unscrew the remaining fastening screws.
6. Remove the transmission by guiding it towards the rear.
Mounting transmission
1. Attach transmission to workshop crane.
2. Run in transmission.

Information
Always replace flange screws.
When you screw in and tighten the flange screws between the transmission and engine, the screws -1 and 2- must be screwed in and tightened last. If this is not done, the engine housing can be damaged irreparably.

3. Screw in and tighten the four top fastening screws.
4. Screw in and tighten the two bottom fastening screws.
5. Fit cable duct.

6. Engage coolant lines in holder.
