Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.
2. Remove underbody panels.
3. Place oil collection pan under the transmission.

Changing oil for final drive

Draining oil for final drive

1. Unscrew oil filler plug.

Warning
Risk of scalding from hot oil

- Let the oil cool down

- Wear personal protective gear (goggles, gloves)

Caution
Oil fill level too low
Risk of damage to components

- Do not start engine.

- Do not tow the vehicle.

2. Unscrew oil drain plug and drain oil.

Caution
Oil fill level too low
Risk of damage to components

- Do not start engine.

- Do not tow the vehicle.

1. Replace sealing ring for drain plug and clean and tighten the drain plug. - Tightening torque: 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)
2. Fill oil for final drive with ATF filling device for filling transmission NR.161 until oil escapes at the oil filler opening.

Replace sealing ring for filler plug, clean filler plug, and tighten. - Tightening torque: 22 Nm (16 ftlb.)

3. Fit underbody panelling.

Subsequent work

1. Fit underbody panels.
2. Lower the vehicle.
