Seat Belt: Description and Operation

6911 Seat Belts

The seat belts for the 911 Carrera/S (997) have been retained from the previous 911 Carrera (996) model. The belts for the driver and front passenger are equipped with pyrotechnic belt tensioners and belt-force limiters. As on the previous 911 Carrera (996) Coupe, the belt height is adjusted at the B-pillar to ensure an optimum seat belt fit. Rear passengers are also provided with 3-point automatic belts.
