Removing And Installing Subwoofer

Preliminary work

Preliminary work for subwoofer
Move convertible top to service position.

Removing subwoofer







1. Remove ignition key and switch off audio system.







2. Open the screw plugs by turning in the -A- direction.







3. Open the subwoofer lid on the left side -A-.







4. The electric connector for the subwoofer is located under the lid. Release and unplug connector.
5. Pull subwoofer out to the rear.

Installing subwoofer
1. Position the subwoofer from behind on the engine compartment lid.







2. Insert the plug connection from the subwoofer until the connector audibly engages.
3. Close subwoofer lid.







4. Screw down the subwoofer screw plugs on the left and right -A-.

Subsequent work

Touch up for subwoofer
Move convertible top from the service position and check operation.
