Preliminary work

1. Remove rear spoiler.
2. Remove rear bumper. -> 635019 Removing and installing rear bumper - section on "Removing" 635019 Removing and Installing Rear Bumper

Installation location of rear carrier

1. Undo fastening screws -1-.

2. Remove the impact pipe -2- with seal -3-.

1. Undo fastening screws -1-.

2. Remove the impact absorber (Canada version) -2- with seal -3-.

Installing rear bracket (impact pipe, impact absorber)

1. Position the impact pipe -2- with seal -3-.

2. Screw in fastening screws -1- and tighten to the required tightening torque => Tightening torque: 17 ftlb..

1. Position the impact absorber (Canada version) -2- with seal -3-.

Subsequent work

1. Install rear bumper. -> 635019 Removing and installing rear bumper - section on "Installing" 635019 Removing and Installing Rear Bumper
2. Install rear spoiler.
