Removing And Installing Motor For Rear Vertical Adjustment

Preliminary work

Remove front seat. Refer to Removing and installing front seat

Removing motor for rear vertical adjustment







1. Pull connector -1- off the motor for rear vertical adjustment -3-.







2. Unscrew the two fastening screws -2- and remove motor for rear vertical adjustment -3-.
3. Pull drive shaft -1- out of the gear mount -2- and check for damage.







Installing motor for rear vertical adjustment

1. Insert the drive shaft -1- into the gear mount -2- by twisting slightly.







2. Push motor for rear vertical adjustment -3- onto the drive shaft by twisting slightly and secure with the two fastening screws -2-. Tightening torque: 7 Nm (5 ftlb.)







3. Attach connector -1- to motor for rear vertical adjustment -3- until it engages firmly.

Subsequent work

Install front seat. Refer to Removing and installing front seat
