Preliminary work - servo motor for headlight levelling system

1. Remove main headlight. -> 941519 Removing and installing headlight - section on "Removing" 94151900 Removing and installing main headlight

1. Unscrew four fastening screws -1- from the cap.

2. Release cap once at the top and twice at the bottom -a- and remove from the main headlight.

1. Unscrew the two fastening screws -1- for the servo motor.

2. Slide servo motor vertically downwards and remove.

3. Disconnect electrical plug connection from servo motor and remove the servo motor.

Installing servo motor for headlight levelling system

Information

After reinstallation or installation of a new servo motor for the headlight levelling system, the headlight must be calibrated.

1. Push electric plug onto the servo motor until it is felt to engage.

2. Engage servo motor in the actuator for the main headlight and push servo motor upwards.

3. Screw down the servo motor with the two fastening screws.

Subsequent work

Installing main headlight cap

1. Position cap on main headlight and press into place, making sure that the cap engages once at the top and twice at the bottom.

2. Screw in four fastening screws -1- for the cap.

Subsequent work - servo motor for headlight levelling system

Information

After reinstallation or installation of a new servo motor for the headlight levelling system, the headlight must be calibrated.

1. Install main headlight. -> 941519 Removing and installing headlight - section on "Installing" 94151900 Removing and installing main headlight
2. Connect the Porsche System Tester PIWIS Tester 9718 to the vehicle and start the System Tester. Switch on ignition. >> to continue.
3. Select front end on the control unit, carry out calibration menu.
4. Check headlight setting and adjust if necessary.
