2. Remove torque converter. -> 325019 Removing and installing torque converter - section on "removing" 32501950 Removing and installing torque converter

Removing the torque-converter sealing ring

Information

Screw in hook VW 681 directly behind the sealing lip, otherwise the mounting-face ring will be damaged.

1. Remove sealing ring for torque converter with hook VW 681.

Installing the torque-converter sealing ring

1. Check mounting-face ring -2- for damage and replace if necessary.

2. Thinly grease outer circumference and sealing lip of sealing ring with Vaseline.
3. Drive in sealing ring up to the stop with assembly sleeve 3295.
