Technical values

Preliminary work

1. Remove tailpipes. => 263419 Removing and installing tailpipes on DFI engines - section on "Removing"

Information

Component overview

V8 S exhaust system

Removing exhaust system

WARNING

Danger of burns from hot exhaust system.

-> Only remove the exhaust system when it has cooled down.
-> Wear protective gloves.

Information

- Before the rear silencer is released, the exhaust system must be supported with a transmission jack or held by another person.

WARNING

Danger of injury from heavy exhaust system.

-> Before loosening the exhaust system, it should be secured to prevent it from falling.

1. Secure the exhaust system under the vehicle using a jack.
