Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove front apron. => 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Removing"

Installation position of fog light

CAUTION

Risk of short circuit.

-> Before removing the headlight, remove ignition key and switch off light switch.

1. Release connector -1- ( -arrow A- ) and pull off from fog light -2- ( -arrow B- ).

2. Remove support with fog light.
2.1. Pull water hose -3- out of the retaining clip -arrow A-.
2.2. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove support with fog light -2- ( -arrow B- ).

1. Remove fog light.
1.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-.
1.2. Lift fog light -2- on the left side -arrow A- and remove from the support -arrow B-

Installing fog lights

1. Install fog light.
1.1. Position fog light -2- in the support -arrow A- and insert fully -arrow B-.
1.2. Secure fog light -2- with the fastening screws -1-. => Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2.0 ftlb.)

1. Install support with fog light
1.1. Insert support with fog light -2- with the guide into the front apron -arrow A-.
1.2. Secure support with fog light -2- using the fastening screws -1-. => Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2.0 ftlb.)
1.3. Press water hose -3- into the retaining clip -arrow B-.

2. Push connector -1- onto the fog light -2- ( -arrow- ) until the connector engages securely.

Setting the fog lights

1. Using a hexagon socket screwdriver through the opening -1- in the front apron, set the fog light -arrow A- or -arrow B-.

1. Install front apron. => 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Installing"
