Preliminary work
1. Remove C-pillar trim. -> 706819 Removing and installing C-pillar trim - section on "Removing" 706819 Removing and Installing C-Pillar Trim Panel
2. Release the headliner in the rear area. -> 708419 Removing and installing headliner - section on "Removing" 708419 Removing and installing roof lining

NOTICE
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit
-> Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
1. Release holder at the clips -arrows A- and unclip it -arrow B-.

2. Unclip electric line and plug connection at the holder -arrows-.

3. Release plug connection for SDARS antenna -arrow A- and disconnect it -arrows B-.

4. Remove SDARS antenna.
4.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- on SDARS antenna.

4.2. Lift up SDARS antenna -arrow- and cut the adhesive pad with a knife -1-.

4.3. Pull SDARS antenna and line up and out.
Installing SDARS antenna
1. Install SDARS antenna.

1.1. Clean bonding surface on the body.
1.2. Pull protective film off the adhesive pad for the new SDARS antenna.
1.3. Slide in and position SDARS antenna and line -arrow-.
1.4. Secure SDARS antenna with the fastening screw -1-.

2. Push plug connection -arrows- together until it engages securely.

3. Clip electric line and plug connection into the holder -arrows-.

4. Position holder on the roof frame and press it in -arrows- until the clips engage securely.

1. Secure the headliner. -> 708419 Removing and installing headliner - section on "Installing" 708419 Removing and installing roof lining
2. Install C-pillar trim. -> 706819 Removing and installing C-pillar trim - section on "Installing" 706819 Removing and Installing C-Pillar Trim Panel
