Information

- To adjust front doors, use special tool Key for door adjustment 3320.

Information

To ensure that the tapered seat of the hinge is positioned without tension, it may be necessary to take the door hinges off the door if:

- A new bare door shell is installed.

- The bare door shell was or is damaged.

- The bare door shell has no seam joining line.

1. Loosen the fastening screw -1- so that the hinge pins are not strained. Support the doors if necessary to prevent damage. => Master Wheel 50 T wheel mounting trolley with door removal device can be used to do this.

2. Tighten fastening screws M6 x 12 -1- on the hinge joints -2-. Tightening torque => : 13 Nm (9.5 ftlb.)

3. Loosen fastening screw -1-. Set the contour with respect to the wing and side member by moving the angle pieces -2- both vertically and horizontally. -> 5000IN Diagram - body gap dimensions

The dowel sleeves may have to be removed for subsequent assembly.
Tightening torque: => Final tightening: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

1. Loosen fastening screw -2-. By shifting the door lock striker -1- in vertical and horizontal position, adjust contour to the rear wing and door sill. -> 501000 Diagram - body gap dimensions

Tightening torque: Tightening torque => Final tightening: 17 ftlb.
