Removing And Installing Housing For Rear-view Mirror

Preliminary work

1. Remove mirror adjusting motor. Refer to Removing and installing mirror adjusting motor.

Removing housing for rear-view mirror

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove the plate -2-.







2. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove mirror housing -2- in direction of arrow.







3. Unscrew fastening screw -1- from below and remove cover -2- in direction of arrow.







Installing housing for rear-view mirror

1. Insert wire harness -3- into the cover -2- and slide cover into the mirror base.







2. Screw in fastening screw -1- from below.
3. Slide mirror housing -2- into the mirror base until it engages audibly with the cover.







4. Screw in fastening screws -1-.
5. Position plate -2- on the mirror base and secure with the fastening screws -1-.







Subsequent work

1. Install mirror adjusting motor. Refer to Removing and installing mirror adjusting motor.
