Disassembling seat frame

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove cover for AWS sensor -2- in direction of arrow.

1. Press out retaining pins -1- at the left and right with a screwdriver.

2. Unscrew fastening screws -2- , pull frame for seat surface -3- downwards -arrow A- and remove outwards -arrow B- from the seat frame -4-.
Removing backrest frame
Information
Two persons are needed to remove and install the backrest frame.
1. Secure backrest frame -2- in upright position.

2. Unscrew fastening screws -1- on left and right and remove backrest frame -2- up out of the seat frame.

DANGER
Loosen the safety screws.
- Danger of injury if front seat is not screwed down correctly.
-> Always replace fastening screws for the front seat after customer service and reworking.
-> It is not permissible to make alterations to the micro-encapsulated screws (e.g., use lubricant, loosen bolts, and screw them down again).
Information
Two persons are needed to remove and install the backrest frame.
1. Fit backrest frame -2- into the seat frame, position it correctly and secure with the fastening screws -1-. Tightening torque=> Tightening torque: 34 Nm (25 ftlb.)+/-4 Nm (+/-3 ftlb.)

1. Position frame for seat surface -3- on the seat frame -4- ( -arrow A- ), press it upwards -arrow B- and screw down the fastening screws -2-.

2. Press in new retaining pins -1- at the left and right.
