Removing And Installing Trim Strip For The Instrument Panel

Removing trim strip for the instrument panel

Removing trim strip for dashboard (on driver's side)







1. Insert a plastic wedge between the dashboard and left trim strip -1- and unclip trim strip.







2. Check clamp, replace if necessary.
3. Insert a plastic wedge between the dashboard and right trim strip -1- and unclip trim strip.







4. Check clamp, replace if necessary.

Removing trim strip for dashboard (central locking switch)

1. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
2. Insert a plastic wedge between the dashboard and centre trim strip -1- and unclip trim strip.
3. Hold trim strip and remove the switch -2- by unlocking the locking lugs.







4. Check clamp, replace if necessary.

Removing trim strip for dashboard (cup holder)

1. Open the glove compartment.
2. Insert a screwdriver between the cup holder -2- and left/right trim strip -1- and unclip cover carefully in -direction of arrow-.







3. Insert a screwdriver between the cup holder -2- and centre trim strip -1- and unclip cover carefully in -direction of arrow-.

Installing trim strip for dashboard (cup holder)

1. Position centre trim strip -1- on the cup holder and press in until it clicks into place.







2. Position left/right trim strip -1- on the cup holder and press in until it clicks into place.







3. Close glove compartment.

Installing trim strip for dashboard (central locking switch)

1. Press switch -2- into the trip strip until the locking lugs engage.







2. Position trim strip -1- on the dashboard and press in until it clicks into place.

Installing trim strip for dashboard (on driver's side)

1. Position right trim strip -1- on the dashboard and press in until it clicks into place.







2. Position left trim strip -1- on the dashboard and press in until it clicks into place.
