Replacing Light Bulb For Front Direction Indicator

Preliminary work
1. Remove main headlight.

Removing light bulb for front direction indicator
The direction indicator light can be accessed at the bottom of the main headlight.

The description refers to the left Xenon headlight.

1. Place the headlight on a soft surface.







2. Turn the cap -1- to the left (bayonet lock).







3. Release the connector on the direction indicator light -a- and pull off the light bulb.
4. Turn the bulb anti-clockwise (bayonet lock) -A- and remove from the headlight -B-.

NOTE:
Incorrect handling of bulbs
- Risk of damage to bulbs and the bulb housing
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Switch off the relevant loads when changing bulbs.
- Only use bulbs listed in the bulb table.
- Only install clean bulbs that are free of grease.
- Always use a cloth or soft paper when working with bulbs.
- Observe the safety instructions when changing a bulb in a Bi-Xenon headlight.
- In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.







1. Fit new bulb in the headlight -A- and engage it by turning clockwise (bayonet lock) -B-.
2. Press in the electric connector until it clicks into place.







3. Fit the cap -1- (arrows) and turn it clockwise to engage it (bayonet lock).

Subsequent work
1. Install main headlight.
