Removing condenser-fluid tank line
INFORMATION:
- When loosening or tightening the refrigerant lines with line connections, always counter with the special tool assembly tool 9822 if possible.
- When loosening or tightening the refrigerant lines with connections to air-conditioning components (e.g. condenser), always counter with a size 21 open-ended wrench if possible.
1. Unscrew the fastening screw -1- for the line condenser and pull the line out of the condenser.
2. Pull the line out of the line holder.
3. Counter the fastening nuts -2- and open carefully.
INFORMATION:
- Before re-installing the component, check the O-rings of the refrigerant lines for damage and replaced them if necessary.
- Wet the O-rings of the refrigerant lines with refrigerant oil.
- Do not open the plugs for the lines and connections until shortly before installation.
- Close off all lines and connections using suitable plugs during removal.
4. Pull the line and the rubber sleeve out of the passage to the plenum panel over the wheel housing.
