1 Arrangement of LEDs in relation to function, e.g. brake light, etc.
The overviews provided below show the lights in the LED tail light and the arrangement of LEDs for each function (brake light, tail light, etc.). The overviews can help you determine whether a light function is defective (e.g. if LEDs stop working).
2 LEDs stop working.
The LEDs in the tail light are designed to last for the service life of the vehicle. For this reason, repairs to the tail light due to defective LEDs should not be necessary. LEDs are not available as spare parts for this reason.
The tail light must be replaced even if only one (1) LED stops working.
Backup light + turn signal light:
Backup light and turn signal light (referred to below as "direction indicator light" are not LEDs but bulbs - as on previous models. If the bulbs are defective, they can be ordered as spare parts:

Direction indicator light: 999.631.255.91

Rear fog light (I-no. 465) is on the left side of the vehicle, see --> Figure 1 - Worldwide left-hand drive vehicle -C and D-.
3 Small brake light = two LEDs (beside reflector) also light up.
