PDK: Driveshaft and Halfshaft Flange Threads (fine thread) (20/09)

Threaded joint between driveshaft and halfshaft flange.

Information:

- Standardization with 911 Turbo (997), model year A (2010).
- Repairs.

The threaded joint mentioned above (halfshaft flange and cheese head bolt) has been changed as of the beginning of September 2009.

The previously used cheese head bolt (M10 x 1.5) has been replaced with a cheese head bolt with fine thread (M10 x 1). The new bolt is a Torx T55 bolt (previously internal serration N 10).

The tightening torque for the bolt is new: 90 Nm (67 ftlb.).

This threaded joint has been used since start of production on the 911 Turbo (997), model year A (2010).

CG100 2 003010 (limited-slip differential)
CG130 2 011704 (limited-slip differential, C4)

9G1.332.028.50 New/--> Short halfshaft flange

9G1.332.029.50 New/--> Long halfshaft flange
