Windstop
WindstopThe windstop is now standard equipment on the 911 Carrera/S Cabriolets. It reduces air turbulence and in the passenger compartment while offering occupants the highest level of Cabriolet motoring enjoyment. The windstop is made of two frames covered with wind resistant fabric allowing an unobstructed view to the rear. It takes nothing away from the cabriolet's appearance when installed. The wind deflector covers the space between the front seats and the covering of the roll-over bar, gives the vehicle roadster like contour.
Various details of the rear mounting points have been optimized allowing for improved installation and removal.
It can be mounted or removed with simple handles and can be stored in the luggage compartment in a space saving manner because of its double folding mechanism. A nylon bag with zipper is included to hang and securely store the windstop in the luggage compartment.
