Preliminary work

Remove trim panel for convertible top rest. -> 700819 Removing and installing trim panel for convertible top rest - section on "Removing" 700819 Removing and installing trim panel for convertible top rest/engine compartment lid

Removing engine compartment lid

1. Turn fastening screws -1- in -direction of arrow- and lift engine compartment lid -2- up and off.

2. Check mounting point -3- , replacing if necessary.

Installing engine compartment lid

1. Position engine compartment lid -2- and fasten with the fastening screws -1- by turning in -direction of arrow-.
