WM 660419 Removing and installing front air grille

Preliminary work

1. Remove the front apron. -> 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Removing"

Information

- Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

2. Detach spray nozzle for headlight cleaning system, detach the water hose and lay it aside. -> 927219 Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight cleaning system - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
3. Remove auxiliary headlights. -> 947119 Removing and installing auxiliary headlights - section on "Removing" 947119 Removing and installing auxiliary headlight

Removing front air grille

Removing front outer air grille

1. Unclip retaining clip -1- from the air grille -2- ( -arrow- ).

2. Unclip air intake slats -1- from the air grille -2- ( -arrows- ).

3. Insert a screwdriver between the front apron -1- and air grille -2- and release the locking lugs and remove the air grille at the same time -arrow-.

1. Insert a screwdriver between the front apron -1- and air grille -2- and release the locking lugs and remove the air grille at the same time -arrows-.

Information

2. Disengage the water hose -3- from the air grille -2-.

Installing front air grille

Installing front centre air grille

1. Position the air grille -2- in the pins of the front apron -1- all the way round -arrows-.

2. Press the air grille -2- into the front apron -1- until the locking lugs engage securely.

3. Engage the water hose -3- on the air grille -2-.

3. Clip in air intake slats -1- on the air grille -2- ( -arrows- ).

4. Clip in the retaining clip -1- on the air grille -2- ( -arrow- ).

Subsequent work
