PCM3.0(R) - Bluetooth(R) Hands-Free Interface
PCM3.0 - Bluetooth Hands-free Interface (l-no. 619)Concerns:
Retrofitting
Model Year:
As of 2009
Restriction:
Only for vehicles with PCM3.0 (l-no. 665) or navigation system (l-no. 672). Not in conjunction with telephone module (l-no. 666).
NOTE:
The mobile phone preparation is available without a console for connecting mobile phones that support the hands-free profile (HFP) via Bluetooth(R). When connected over HFP, PCM3.0 serves only as a hands-free facility. The mobile phone can remain packed. The telephone numbers from the SIM card must be copied over manually, unlike with the telephone module. Only the basic functions of the mobile phone can be used using PCM3.0 (see PCM3.0 operating instructions). With this option, GSM is connected via the mobile phone antenna.
If a mobile phone is installed and activated even though the telephone module is installed, the telephone module is not required. Both systems cannot be used at the same time.
After ordering, i.e. entering the part number and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in POLARIS Lock/Key parts order screen, the enabling code should be displayed within one day once the VIN is entered in the Vehicle code information column in the PIWIS information system.
