Preliminary work

Removing front apron. -> 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Removing"

Installation position of skid plate

1. Unclip cap -1- using a screwdriver and remove it -arrow-.

Use new clamping washers during installation.

2. Press clamping washers -1, 2- out of the retaining pivots using a screwdriver -arrows-.

3. Carefully remove the skid plate -1- from the front apron -2- with the help of another person -arrows-.

Installing (stainless steel) skid plate

1. Carefully fit the skid plate -1- on the front apron -2- with the help of another person -arrows-. When doing so, make sure that the retaining pivots of the skid plate are inserted into the round holes and slots on the front apron.

2. Press the skid plate onto the front apron and fit the clamping washers -1, 2- onto the retaining pivots on the skid plate -arrows-.

3. Position cap -1- on the front apron and clip it in -arrow-.
