Removing rear seat





Installation position of rear seat

1. Release rear seats -1, 2- and fold them up 90° -arrows-.





Releasing rear seats

2. Release connector for heated seats -1- ( -arrows A- ) and pull it off -arrow B-.

3. Unclip connector -1- ( -arrow C- ).
4. Unscrew fastening screws -3- ( -arrows- ).





Removing rear seat

5. Fold rear seats -1, 2- back and remove them sideways from the vehicle.

Installing rear seat

CAUTION

Safety bolts on rear seats.

- Risk of damage to rear seat threaded joints.

-> Always replace fastening screws for rear seats.
-> Before screwing in the new fastening screws, clean the thread holes with an M 10 tap.

Information

To insert the rear seats, fold over the hinge parts on the rear seat.

1. Guide rear seats sideways into the vehicle and position them.
2. Fold rear seats -1, 2- up and align them.





Releasing rear seats

3. Secure rear seats -1, 2- with the fastening screws -3- ( -arrows- ). => Tightening torque: 44 Nm (33 ftlb.)+/-4 Nm (+/-3 ftlb.)





Installing rear seats

4. Clip in connector for heated seats -1- ( -arrow A- ).

5. Connect connector -1- ( -arrow B- ) until the locking lugs lock with an audible click.
6. Fold rear seats -1, 2- down and lock them -arrows-.
