Removing side-section trim





Installation location of side-section trim

1. Pull cover -1- out of the side-section trim -2- ( -arrow- ).

2. Unscrew fastening screws -1- on rear wheel housing liner -2- in the lower area -arrow-.

3. Lift off rear wheel housing liner -1- in the lower area -arrow A- and unscrew fastening screw -2- ( -arrow B- ).

4. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove side-section trim -2- ( -arrow- ).

Installing side-section trim





Installation position of side-section trim

1. Position side-section trim -2- on the side member -arrow- and secure with the fastening screws -1-.





Installing side-section trim

2. Lift off rear wheel housing liner -1- in the lower area -arrow A- and tighten the fastening screws -2- ( -arrow B- ). => Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (2.0 ftlb.)+/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)





Securing side-section trim

3. Screw in fastening screws -1- on rear wheel housing liner -2- in the lower area -arrow-. => Tightening torque: 2.5 Nm (2.0 ftlb.)+/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)

4. Position cover -1- on the side-section trim -2- and press it in -arrow-.
