Preliminary work for shift and selector cables

1. Remove shift-lever knob.

2. Remove centre console.

Adjusting shift and selector cables

1. Open bayonet locks at preselector and shift connections.





Opening bayonet lock

2. Align the shift lever in neutral position using locking bridge P 9619/1.





Fitting locking bridge

3. Move external shift mechanism on the transmission into neutral position.
4. Close bayonet locks on the pre-selector and shift connections.





Closing bayonet lock

5. Locking bridge P 9619/1 must be removed.
