- Malfunctions in control unit, even during programming

-> Ensure that the power supply is not interrupted during programming.

1. PIWIS Tester 9718 must be connected to the vehicle before starting the System Tester. Switch on ignition. Press >> to continue.
2. Select vehicle type. Press >> to continue.
3. Select HeadUnit control unit and press >>.
4. Engage telephone handset in the charging cradle.
5. Select the Drive links/Tests menu.
6. Select the Teach handset function and press >>.
7. Start the activation process by pressing F8.
8. Follow the instructions on the Tester. The message Handset has been taught must appear. Press << to go back.
9. Check the function of the handset.
