Preliminary work

1. Remove dashboard cover. -> 701619 Removing and installing dashboard cover - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing front side section trim

Information

- To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.





Installation position of front side section trim

1. Unclip side section trim from top of A-pillar trim.





Unclipping side section trim

2. Unclip side section trim at the lower edge.
3. Remove trim panel in a downward direction.

Information

- Check that all the fastening clips are positioned fully and correctly.

- Check that all the fastening clips are not bent or broken.

- Replace damaged or missing clips with new ones.

Information

- Make sure that the retaining lugs are not bent or broken.

- Replace the trim panel if the retaining lugs are damaged.

1. Guide in side section trim.





Guiding in side section trim

1.1. Push side section trim into the A-pillar trim from below -A-.
1.2. Push in side section trim at the bottom -B-.
2. Clip in the trim panel.





Clipping in trim panel

2.1. Fit fixing clips in the cut-out in the middle of the trim panel.
2.2. Clip in fixing clips -A-.
2.3. Clip trim panel into the door sill trim -B-.
2.4. Clip trim panel into the A-pillar trim -C-.

Subsequent work

1. Install dashboard cover. -> 701619 Removing and installing dashboard cover - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
