Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove trim for door panel. -> 706119 Removing and installing trim for door panel - section on "Removing" 706119 Removing and installing trim for rear door panel

Removing rear-view mirror

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect remote control.
2. Release the plug connection -a- and pull it off -A-.

3. Open the cap.

4. Unscrew fastening screw -1- on the rear-view mirror (remains in sealing grommet).

5. Remove rear-view mirror.
5.1. Tie cord onto the plug connection.
5.2. Lift the rear-view mirror up and off.

5.3. Pull wire harness out of the door.
5.4. Detach the cord (remains in the door).

Installing rear-view mirror

1. Fit rear-view mirror.
1.1. Tie cord onto wire harness.
1.2. Pull wire harness for rear-view mirror into the door using the cord.
1.3. Detach the cord.
1.4. Position rear-view mirror on the twist-lock.





Positioning rear-view mirror

1.5. Check that rubber seal is seated correctly.
2. Screw in fastening screw -1- for the rear-view mirror and tighten to the specified tightening torque => Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.).





Installing rear-view mirror

3. Check cap for damage and replace it if necessary.
4. Connect and lock the plug connection.

1. Install trim for door panel. -> 706119 Removing and installing trim for door panel - section on "Installing" 706119 Removing and installing trim for rear door panel
