Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove rear seat. -> 724819 Removing and installing rear seat - section on "Removing" 724819 Removing and installing rear seat
2. Remove side cushion. -> 724919 Removing and installing side cushion - section on "Removing" 724919 Removing and installing side cushion

Installation position of rear backrest

1. Release electric plug connection and disconnect it.

2. Fold the backrest down.
3. Unscrew fastening screw for securing clip at the outside of the vehicle.

4. Unscrew fastening screw for securing clip in the middle of the vehicle.

5. Open the securing clip -1- at the outside of the vehicle -arrow A-.

6. Open the securing clip -3- in the middle of the vehicle -arrow A-.

7. Disengage bolts -2- and -4- on the backrest and remove the backrest -arrow B-.

Installing rear backrest

1. Move the backrest into position -arrow A- and guide the bolts -4- and -2- backrest into the support.
2. Close the securing clip -3- in the middle of the vehicle -arrow B-.

3. Close the securing clip -1- at the outside of the vehicle -arrow B-.

4. Screw in fastening screw for securing clip in the middle of the vehicle and tighten to the specified torque => Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)+/-1 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.).

5. Screw in fastening screw for securing clip at the outside of the vehicle and tighten to the specified torque => Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)+/-1 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.).

6. Fold the backrest up until it engages securely.
7. Plug in electric plug connection until it engages securely.

Subsequent work

1. Install side cushion. -> 724919 Removing and installing side cushion - section on "Installing" 724919 Removing and installing side cushion
2. Install rear seat. -> 724819 Removing and installing rear seat - section on "Installing" 724819 Removing and installing rear seat
