Removing and installing crankshaft
Preliminary work
1. Remove the engine.
2. Remove transmission from engine.
3. Secure engine on assembly support.
4. Drain engine oil.
5. Disassemble the engine. Cylinder heads are removed, but must remain intact. The starter, knock sensors, thermostat housing and coolant guide remain fitted on the crankcase.

A - Direction of travel (main bearing 1 is the first in direction of travel against output)

1. Assemble the engine.
