Key features of the aerodynamically optimized rear area:

Aerodynamic optimization in the rear area is enhanced for all models by an active rear spoiler. Because of its location, it visually enlarges the rear window due to the black paint finish and lends the Panamera an even more elongated and dynamic silhouette.

The rear spoiler extends upwards in the same way as the rear spoiler of the 911 Carrera and like the rear spoiler for the Porsche Boxster its upper surface features a Gurney flap. The Panamera S and 4S are equipped with a two-way rear spoiler while the Panamera Turbo comes with a four-way rear spoiler. As in the 911 Carrera models, it is retracted while the vehicle is stationary and extends at higher speeds or can be manually extended by actuating a switch on the center console.
