Preliminary work
Remove cover for rear backrest.
Removing mount for rear backrest
1. Use a suitable tool to prevent the M12 fastening nuts -3- from turning.
2. Unscrew inner -1- and outer bearing pins -2- with the bearing sleeves.
3. Remove inner -1- and outer mount -2- .
Removing mount for backrest (with armrest)
1. Use a suitable tool to prevent the M12 fastening nut -3- from turning.
2. Unscrew inner -1- and outer bearing pins -2- with the bearing sleeves.
3. Remove inner -1- and outer mount -2- .
Removing mount for rear backrest (with load-through system)
1. Use a suitable tool to prevent the M12 fastening nut -3- and the load-through sleeve -4- from turning.
2. Unscrew inner -1 - and outer bearing pins -2 - with the bearing sleeves.
3. Remove inner -1 - and outer mount -2- .
Installing mount for rear backrest
1. Position inner and outer bearing pins with the bearing sleeves.
2. Use a suitable tool to prevent the M12 fastening nuts -3- from turning.
3. Screw in bearing pins -1 and 2- and tighten to the specified tightening torque.
- Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)±5 Nm (±3.5 ftlb.)
Installing mount for backrest (with armrest)
1. Position inner and outer bearing pins with the bearing sleeves.
2. Use a suitable tool to prevent the M12 fastening nut -3 - from turning.
3. Screw in bearing pins -1 and 2- and tighten to the specified tightening torque.
- Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)±5 Nm (±3.5 ftlb.)
Installing mount for rear backrest (with load-through system)
1. Position inner and outer bearing pins with the bearing sleeves.
2. Use a suitable tool to prevent the M12 fastening nut -3- and the load-through sleeve -4- from turning.
3. Screw in bearing pins -1 and 2 - and tighten to the specified tightening torque.
- Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)±5 Nm (±3.5 ftlb.)
Subsequent work
Fit cover for rear backrest.
