Removing And Installing Air Cushion For Backrest

Installation position of air cushion for backrest







Preliminary work

1. Remove padding for front middle backrest.

Removing air cushion for backrest

1. Lift side cushion and cover forward from the backrest frame until the air cushions for the backrest are visible.







2. Remove pressure line.
2.1. Disconnect pneumatic plug connection -1- at the distributing piece -arrow- .
2.2. Cut tie-wrap -3- .
2.3. Guide the pressure line -2- through the backrest frame to the air cushion.







3. Remove air cushion.
3.1. Push in pins -2- on expanding clip -1- ( -arrow A- ).
3.2. Remove relieved expanding clips -1- ( -arrow B- ).
3.3. Remove air cushion for backrest -3- and pressure line from the backrest frame -arrow C- .

Installing air cushion for backrest







1. Install air cushion.
1.1. Guide the pressure line in the backrest frame to the distributing piece.
1.2. Position air cushion for backrest -3- ( -arrow A- ).
1.3. Secure air cushion for backrest -3- using an expanding clip -1- ( -arrow B- ).
1.4. Push pins -2- into the expanding clip -1- ( -arrow C- ).







2. Install the pressure line.
2.1. Position the pressure line -2- on the distributing piece.
2.2. Connect pneumatic plug connection -1- on the distributing piece until it engages securely -arrow- .
2.3. Secure the pressure line -2- with a tie-wrap -3- .

3. Move cushion and cover back to their original position.

Subsequent work

1. Secure padding for front middle backrest.
