Replacing Front Seat Frame

Preliminary work

1. Remove backrest frame.
2. Remove padding for front seat.
3. Remove seat-belt buckle.
4. For driver's seat frame with memory seat adjustment:
Remove control unit for memory seat adjustment.

5. For passenger's seat frame with AWS:
Remove AWS control unit.

6. Remove motor for seat adjustment.
7. Remove motor for front vertical adjustment.
8. Remove motor for rear vertical adjustment.
9. For seats with seat-surface extension:
Remove seat-surface extension.

10. For adaptive sports seats:
Remove air cushion for seat.

INFORMATION: The number of connectors, tie-wraps and lines can vary, depending on vehicle equipment.

11. Remove all connectors, tie-wraps and lines on the seat frame.

Subsequent work

1. For adaptive sports seats:
Install air cushion for seat.

2. For seats with seat-surface extension:
Install seat-surface extension.

3. Install motor for rear vertical adjustment.
4. Install motor for front vertical adjustment.
5. Install motor for seat adjustment.
6. For passenger's seat frame with AWS:
Install AWS control unit.

7. For driver's seat frame with memory seat adjustment:
Install control unit for memory seat adjustment.

8. Install seat-belt buckle.
9. Install padding for front seat.
10. Install backrest frame.

INFORMATION: The number of connectors, tie-wraps and lines can vary, depending on vehicle equipment.

11. Secure all connectors, tie-wraps and lines on the seat frame.
