Cayenne vs. Panamera System Differences

Cayenne vs. Panamera A/C System

Cayenne air-conditioning system (2+2 air-conditioning system):
- Rear air vents (footwell, center console and B-pillar) are served by a separate heating unit (shown here)

Advantage:
- Passenger adjustments in the rear do not impact on the front air-conditioned areas

NOTE:
- High additional weight (e.g. heating unit)
- Large amount of space required
- Additional lines (e.g. air-conditioning line)
- High cost

Panamera air-conditioning system (4-zone system):
- All air vents in the vehicle (incl. the rear) are served by just one air-conditioning unit (heating unit at front)

Advantages:
- More cost-effective
- Weight advantages
- Less space required

NOTE: Rear passenger adjustments (especially changing the strength of the fan) can lead to feedback in the front air-conditioned areas
