Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove steering column casing. -> 481319 Removing and installing steering column casing - section on "Removing" 481319 Removing and installing steering column trim
2. Remove moulding for dashboard at the driver's side at the left and right. -> 705819 Removing and installing moulding for dashboard - section on "Removing" 705819 Removing and installing moulding for dashboard

Removing instrument cluster





Installation position of instrument cluster

1. Loosen the steering wheel adjustment, put the steering wheel in the front-most and lowest position and lock the steering wheel adjustment.
2. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and -2-.

3. Remove instrument cluster.





Disconnecting electric plug connections

4. Release electric plug connections on the instrument cluster -A- and unplug them.
5. Unclip dashboard inset (cover) at the top left and right on the instrument cluster. -> 900319 Removing and installing dashboard inset - section on "Removing" 900319 Removing and installing dashboard insert

Installing instrument cluster

1. Clip in dashboard inset (cover) at the top left and right on the instrument cluster. -> 900319 Removing and installing dashboard inset - section on "Installing" 900319 Removing and installing dashboard insert
2. Position the instrument cluster and plug in and lock electric plug connections until they engage securely.





Securing electric plug connections

3. Slide in the instrument cluster.
4. Tighten fastening screws -1- and -2-. => Tightening torque: 3.2 Nm (2 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install moulding for dashboard on driver's side at the left and right. -> 705819 Removing and installing moulding for dashboard - section on "Installing" 705819 Removing and installing moulding for dashboard
2. Install steering column casing. -> 481319 Removing and installing steering column casing - section on "Installing" 481319 Removing and installing steering column trim
