Removing door warning light

INFORMATION: The work steps are described for the left rear door of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the other doors. Any different work steps are marked/highlighted.







1. Unclip the door warning light -A- and remove it -B-.







2. Pull off connector.







Installing door warning light

INFORMATION: The work steps are described for the left rear door of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the other doors. Any different work steps are marked/highlighted.

1. Connect connector.







2. Check that the connector is seated securely.

3. Fit the door warning light -A- and clip it in -B-.







Replacing bulb for door warning light

NOTE:
Incorrect handling of bulbs
- Risk of damage to bulbs and the bulb housing
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Switch off the relevant loads when changing bulbs.
- Only use bulbs listed in the bulb table.
- Only install clean bulbs that are free of grease.
- Always use a cloth or soft paper when working with bulbs.
- Observe the safety instructions when changing a bulb in a Bi-Xenon headlight.
- In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.

1. Remove door warning light.

2. Turn the holder to release it.







3. Pull holder out of the door warning light.







4. Pull the bulb out of the holder.
5. Insert a new bulb into the holder.
6. Guide the holder into the door warning light.







7. Turn the holder to lock it.







8. Install door warning light.
