Removing tail light

Information

- The work steps are described for the left rear door of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the other doors. Any different work steps are marked/highlighted.

1. Carefully open the cover in the luggage compartment trim panel using a screwdriver.

2. Unscrew fastening screw -1-.

3. Remove the tail light from the bracket.

4. Release -a- and unplug connector (locking mechanism on back of connector).

Installing tail light

Information

- The work steps are described for the left rear door of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the other doors. Any different work steps are marked/highlighted.

1. Plug in connector on the tail light until it engages securely.

2. Fit the tail light into the bracket. Observe specified sequence.

3. Screw in the fastening screw -1-. => Tightening torque: 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)

4. Fit cover into the luggage compartment trim panel. Make sure it is seated securely.
