Removing And Installing Engine-Compartment Light

Removing engine-compartment light

1. Unclip engine-compartment light using a plastic wedge.







2. Disconnect plug connection.







Installing engine-compartment light

1. Connect plug connection.







2. Check that the plug connection is seated securely.

3. Fit the engine-compartment light -A- and clip it in -B-.







Replacing light bulbs

NOTE:
Incorrect handling of bulbs
- Risk of damage to bulbs and the bulb housing
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Switch off the relevant loads when changing bulbs.
- Only use bulbs listed in the bulb table.
- Only install clean bulbs that are free of grease.
- Always use a cloth or soft paper when working with bulbs.
- Observe the safety instructions when changing a bulb in a Bi-Xenon headlight.
- In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.

1. Remove holder.







1.1. Release the holder by turning it -A- and then remove it -B-.

2. Pull the light bulb out of the holder.







3. Insert the light bulb.







4. Insert the holder -A- and lock it by turning it -B-.
