Panamera S/4S Brakes







6-piston aluminum monobloc fixed caliper brakes and integral-type brake discs with a diameter of 360 mm are used on the front of the Panamera S and Panamera 4S. 4-piston aluminum monobloc fixed caliper brakes and integral-type brake discs with a diameter of 330 mm are installed at the rear. The brake discs are involute-shaped and internally vented for better dissipation of heat and have grooves for greater friction. A specific cooling air duct on the front axle ensures effective cooling of the brake system. A brake pad wear indicator on each wheel indicates when the pads need to be replaced.

Panamera Turbo Brakes







6-piston aluminum monobloc fixed caliper brakes and compound brake discs with a diameter of 390 mm are used on the front of the Panamera Turbo. 4-piston aluminum monobloc fixed caliper brakes and integral-type brake discs with a diameter of 350 mm are used at the rear. The brake discs are involute-shaped and internally vented for better dissipation of heat and have grooves for greater friction and optimal braking comfort. The standard compound brake discs with an aluminum hub and grey cast-iron friction ring on the front axle of the Panamera Turbo help to reduce the weight and unsprung masses.










A specific cooling air duct on the front axle ensures effective cooling of the brake system. A brake pad wear indicator on each wheel indicates when the pads need to be replaced.

Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB)







Similar to other Porsche models, the high-performance ceramic brake system Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB), is also available as a option.

For the Panamera S and Panamera 4S models, this brake system is designed with a brake disc diameter of 390 mm at the front and 350 mm at the rear, while the system used on the Panamera Turbo has a brake disc diameter of 410 mm at the front and 350 mm at the rear. 6-piston aluminum monobloc fixed caliper brakes are also used here on the front axle and 4-piston aluminum monobloc fixed caliper brakes on the rear axle of all Panamera models.



Brake system - V6

The brake systems of the V6 models are designed to cope with the power of the vehicles and therefore offer the high braking performance typical for Porsche. 6-piston aluminum monobloc fixed-caliper brakes and brake discs with a diameter of 360 mm are fitted at the front. At the rear, the vehicle is braked by 4-piston aluminum monobloc fixed-caliper brakes and brake discs with a diameter of 330 mm. The brake calipers are black for the Panamera V6 models. The powerful ceramic brake system Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) is optionally available.
