Overhaul



Removing and installing flywheel








Preliminary work

1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the clutch pack on vehicles with manual transmission.

Removing flywheel

1. Block flywheel. To do this, attach toothed segment 9538/1 to a screw hole at the bottom of the oil guide housing so that at least one tooth engages with the ring gear.





Toothed segment

2. Remove screws. Replace screws.

Installing flywheel

1. Block flywheel. To do this, attach toothed segment 9538/1 to a screw hole at the bottom of the oil guide housing so that at least one tooth engages with the ring gear.





Toothed segment

2. Fit new screws crosswise.





Flywheel and clutch

2 - Screw securing flywheel to crankshaft -> Initial tightening: 60 Nm (44 ftlb.) and -> Final tightening: 90 degrees

2 - Screw securing flywheel to crankshaft -> Initial tightening: 60 Nm (44 ftlb.) and -> Final tightening: 90 degrees

Subsequent work

1. Fit the clutch pack on vehicles with manual transmission.
2. Fit the transmission.
