Preliminary work for replacing transmission

1. Remove transmission support.
2. Remove transmission.

1. Remove speed sender -1- at the clutch bell-housing.

2. Remove breather hose -1-.

3. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove support for operating cables.

4. Remove gearshift lever -1 and 3- on the transmission. To do this, screw off the fastening nuts -2-.

5. Remove plastic cap on the transmission bell housing.

Fitting parts

Fitting parts on the new transmission

1. Fit speed sender -1- at the clutch bell-housing. -> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

2. Slide breather hose onto the bleeder.

3. Fit gearshift lever -1 and 3- on the transmission. To do this, screw in fastening nuts -2-. -> Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

4. Fit support for operating cables. To do this, screw in fastening screws -1-. -> Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

5. Fit plastic cap on the transmission bell housing.

Subsequent work for replacing transmission

1. Install transmission.
2. Install transmission support.
