Model year:
2010
Information
This Technical Information replaces the TI dated May 3, 2010. Changes/additions compared to the previous Technical Information:
--> Working time values 30 and 150 TU added under "Working Time".
Vehicle Type:
Panamera S/Panamera Turbo
Concerns:
Water leakage in tail light/rear side panel area at the right.
Information:
Spare parts requirements for control units...
- Tire Pressure Monitoring system (referred to below as "TPM"),
and/or
- Reversing camera.
It is possible that the body of some vehicles was not sealed sufficiently in the tail light area (rear side panel at the right and/or left) at the beginning of series production.
As a result, water can get into the vehicle through a small gap (-inset/arrow-).
(Figure shows right side of the vehicle).
The TPM and reversing camera control units are located inside the vehicle in the rear side panel area at the right.
Action Required:
If spare parts are required or if the TPM and/or reversing camera control units need to be replaced, perform a visual inspection to see if there is any moisture in the side panel area at the right and/or close to the control units.
If there is: see --> "Procedure" section --> starting at Step --> 1
If not: see --> "Procedure" section --> only Step --> 1 (Replace control unit(s)).
Parts Info:
000.043.204.38 --> Sealing material
